EDITORIAL: We have been called the melting pot
of the world and while we are all Americans we all have qualities that make us
unique. And while those qualities can be admired for many for others, they can
be divisive.
That's why WTVM and One Columbus are
presenting the annual diversity forum "Building Bridges, Changing Lives."
This year's topic is
civility. We're talking with a diverse group of students from Shaw High School
about diversity effects their lives and how they see the world.
We'll also have a panel
of experts ready to answer your questions about everything from the generation
gap to bullying.
Please join us at the RiverCenter's
studio theater Thursday night at 7 pm as we try to bring a better understanding
of each other to the people of Columbus.
If you can't join us at the river center you can join us on
air WTVM as well as wtvm.com and on Vounce TV.
Please join us and don't miss this important
community event.
