COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police VICE squad is cleaning up what appears to be a meth lab.
Authorities found evidence that someone had been cooking the dangerous drug around a trailer at 800 Morris Road.
They found the needed chemicals around that area.
Officers suited up, along with haz-mat officials to clean up the remains of the lab.
News leader 9 has been told that fire and police officials have left the scene, but a chemical disposal team is still cleaning up the mess.
The case is still under investigating and at this time no arrests have been made.
