PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) – Phenix City police are still looking for a man who may have been involved in a fatal shooting.
Walter Patterson is believed to be the gunman who confronted Terry Simmons and Richard Prince in the parking lot of a car dealership early Saturday morning.
Investigators say Patterson shot both men, leaving Simmons dead and Prince wounded.
Simmons' family members say he did not have insurance.
A memorial fund has been set up at CB&T and the family asks that donations be made to help with expenses in place of sending flowers.
