Mother refuses to give up hope for missing son

An east Alabama mother is speaking out in an emotional plea, for any information regarding the whereabouts of her son.

Willie Pugh, 27, went missing Saturday night from Clio, AL around 7:00 pm. Barbour County sheriff's deputies are searching for Pugh, but suspect foul play in his disappearance.

Pugh's Chevy Malibu was found in the yard of an abandoned house.

"The last few days for me have been a nightmare," said Betty Pugh, Willie's mother. "I just can't accept that anything is wrong in my heart. I feel like he's out there. He's hurt and he needs me. I don't feel like he's gone."

Betty saw Willie earlier Saturday, "I talked to him and he was in a good mood. He was happy. He had a smile on his face. He didn't have violence in his heart and I would've never believed something like this would've come up that night."

Willie was last seen on his way to Ozark, AL to buy some milk. Betty says she knew something was wrong when he didn't call that night.

Betty Pugh says she plans on setting up a $1,000 reward for anyone who has information about her son. If you have information, please call 334-775-3434.
