COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus Police are looking for female thief who racked up some serious charges on someone else's debit card.

A surveillance camera captured the suspect leaving a local store after she racked up some major buys with the stolen card.

Sergeant Donald Bush with the Columbus Police Department says this is the most common type of crime.

He urges the public to report any stolen or lost credit or debit cards to their credit agencies the second you notice them missing.

Also Sgt. Bush urges everyone to file a police report.

"That police report will help you stop the crime because guess what, as soon as that card is found somebody is going to try to use it, probably within moments. By the time you think about it they may have racked up a lot of charges."

Any information you have about this suspect can help police make a quick arrest.
