Police seek man for questioning in barbershop murder

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Police are circulating an artist's rendering of a man wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of a barber shop owner.

Thirty-year-old Charlie Artis, the owner of a barber shop in Gunboat Plaza off Gunboat Drive in Columbus, died January 5 after officials say he suffered a gunshot wound in his left side.

The suspect was described as a black male, 16 to 21 years old, 5'8"-5'11", 140  pounds wearing a royal blue jacket , blue and white ballcap, dark colored long shorts with white long tube socks pulled up to his knees.
