City of Auburn: Cast your vote for Special 5-Mill Tax Referendum

AUBURN, AL  - The City of Auburn is asking Citizens to cast their vote in today's Special Five-Mill Tax Referendum. Polls are open until 7:00 p.m., and unofficial results will be posted on the City's website at http://www.auburnalabama.org as they are tallied.

The referendum is not a call for a new tax or a tax increase, but allows voters to choose whether to approve the use of existing funds to construct a new Senior Center, an addition to the Frank Brown Recreation Center, and downtown parking improvements.

Polls Open from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Ward 1 (District 1, Post 1) Boykin Center Gymnasium, 400 Boykin Street
Ward 2 (District 1, Post 2) National Guard Armory, 1455 Shug Jordan Parkway
Ward 3 (District 2, Post 1) Frank Brown Recreation Center, 235 Opelika Road
Ward 4 (District 2, Post 2) Frank Brown Recreation Center, 235 Opelika Road
Ward 5 (District 3, Post 1) Dean Road Recreation Center, 307 South Dean Road
