A body found Tuesday night in Barbour County is believed to be a missing man.
Barbour County Coroner Sidney Chapman says remains of a black man were found around 8 PM and they are believed to be those of Willie Pugh, the man who was reported missing on January 14.
The positive identity of the body has not been established at this time.
Just last week the Barbour County Sheriff's Office suspended the search for Pugh, but continued to investigate his whereabouts.
Coroner Chapman says the cause of death will be determined by the state forensic lab, which is where the body will be sent Wednesday morning.
