COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A man caught by Columbus police because of our Most Wanted feature is being held and questioned about a number of crimes in Columbus.
Wednesday night, News Leader 9's Most Wanted series featured 27-year-old John Oscar Dunn II or a.k.a. "Lil Johnny".
Dunn was arrested Thursday morning at the Candlewoods Suite on Victory Drive. Columbus police tell News Leader a gun was found inside the hotel room.
He had outstanding warrants with the Columbus Police Department, one outstanding warrant with Muscogee County Sheriff's Department and one felony warrant with Phenix City Police.
Viewer tips helped police make that capture and place Dunn under arrest.
News leader 9 has helped police capture five wanted criminals in this area.
