Ala. man charge with online solicitation of a child

TALLAPOOSA COUNTY, AL (WTVM) – An Alabama minister of education has been arrested and charged in Tallapoosa County after a month long investigation.

The Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Department and the Alexander City Police arrested William Lynn Cosby, 44, on charges of electronic solicitation of a child and transmitting obscene material to a child by computer.

Cosby is employed by the Bethel Baptist Church in Dothan, Ala as the Minister of Education.

His bond has been set at $30,000.
