HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WXTX) – Harris County Sheriff's office investigators have been working hard to keep crack cocaine off the streets over the last few days.
Investigators became aware of several persons had been delivering crack cocaine to Harris County for the purpose of distribution.
Thursday, investigators ordered an amount of crack cocaine from two suspected drug dealers.
Kristopher Huling of Columbus was arrested on the scene. Martavious Lawrence fled in a car but was apprehended after a high speed chase.
Both were charged with criminal attempt to sale cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
The investigation continued after investigators made a second order for crack.
Investigators recovered an amount of crack cocaine and seized a grey Mazda for being used in the transaction.
Reginald Grant was arrested Thursday for possession of a pistol that had been stolen in a burglary in Columbus. He was charged with several firearms violations including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Also arrested were Juan Gary from Columbus and Alvin Cox from Virginia.
All suspects are currently being held in the Harris County jail on charges of criminal attempt sale of cocaine.
