Grand jury indicts Columbus violin teacher for allegedly enticing a child

A Columbus man was indicted Wednesday by a Lee County grand jury for allegedly enticing a child for immoral purposes.

Mario Urbina, 46, was initially arrested on November 23 on a warrant charging him with sexual abuse of a child.

The case was first reported to police in late October by a Department of Human Resources representative.  Investigators say Urbina was providing private violin lessons to a female victim at the time.

Urbina turned himself in at the Auburn Police Department and is currently being held at the Lee County Detention Center where he is being held on a $5,000 bond.
