Cols Murder Suspect Kills Himself, Don't Drive & Text in AL?

Hello Everyone I'm Barbara Gauthier in the WTVM Newsroom. Here's a look at some of the stories we're working on for Newsleader 9 at 11.

A Columbus man wanted for murder and on the run for three weeks is dead tonight. Police say Leo Scott took his own life as authorities moved in to arrest him in for the murder of Valencia Compton. Two women at the Lemon Tree Apartments have been arrested for allegedly trying to hide the suspect's whereabouts from police. We've got the latest as well as reaction from the Valencia Compton's family.

Plus, it's already illegal in a number of states, now Alabama is moving to ban texting while driving. The state legislature is poised to debate the issue which could mean hefty fines for folks caught sending or receiving texts while driving.

And it was one of the most talked about missing persons cases in Auburn history. What happened to Lori Ann Slesinski?  She disappeared in 2006 and tonight Newsleader 9's Semone Doughton has a special Most Wanted Report with the latest on the case and investigation.
