LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Narcotics detectives seized a large amount of crack cocaine and cash during the search of a home and vehicle in the 2000 block of Auburn Drive in Shively on Wednesday.
According to police records, the home and vehicle belongs to 51-year-old Kelvin N. Murdock.
When officers searched the premises and car they recovered a large amount of crack cocaine that was packaged for sale along with over $20,000 in cash, digital scales and baggies to package cocaine.
Police say that Murdock, who is also known as 'Wuzzy', has previous trafficking convictions and was out on probation at the time of his arrest.
Murdock was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
