Taylor Co. boys, girls and Troup girls advance in GHSA playoffs

BUTLER, Ga. (WTVM) - Gerdarius Troutman had 27 points to lead No. 6 Taylor County to a 81-60 win over Randolph-Clay in GHSA Class A second round state playoff action.

Jakevius Howell added 14 points for the Vikings, while Shaquille Nunnally had 23 points in a losing cause for the Red Devils.

In other playoff action involving area teams, the Taylor County girls beat Wilcox County 45-42, Greenville lost at Pelham, 60-23, and Troup's girls advanced to the Class AAA quarterfinals with a 50-34 win over Chestatee.
