COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus man was indicted on malice murder charges Tuesday by a Muscogee County grand jury in connection with the August shooting death of a man he allegedly fought over money.
Police say an argument got out of control between Edgar Taylor, 65, and Elijah Huff, 49, at a home on Sampson Avenue off Lawyers Lane.
Huff was shot in the chest and later pronounced dead at the Medical Center.
Police took Taylor into custody after he was discovered at the scene with a revolver in hand. Investigators say the argument was over money.
