AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - Two former Auburn football players, accused in an armed robbery, are scheduled to begin trial next week.
Shaun Kitchens and Antonio Goodwin are both facing robbery, burglary and theft charges in connection with a home invasion in Auburn nearly a year ago.
Two other players have also been charged with and their trials are still at least a month away.
Meanwhile, Judge Chris Hughes has denied a request to suppress evidence filed by an attorney on behalf of McNeil.
Police recovered stolen property and a handgun when the four Auburn players were pulled over just minutes after the robbery.
