(WOIO) -

New information on the teen accused of fatally shooting three students and wounding two others at Chardon High School last week.

Geauga County Prosecutors filed court papers Monday to limit new information about suspected student gunman TJ Lane.

Prosecutors are trying to block media access to any records that deal with abuse, neglect or dependency in his family.

Prosecutors will not even acknowledge any of those records existed, but they argue Lane is already under "public scrutiny" and any release of those records "would only magnify the situation for him and his relatives."

The shootings occurred just before the start of classes last Monday in the area of the High School's cafeteria.

17-year-old Russell King, Jr., 16-year-old Daniel Parmertor and 16-year-old Demetrius Hewlin were killed. 17-year-old 17-year-old Nick Walczak remains hospitalized, and 18-year-old Joy Rickers has been released from the hospital.

Lane has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault for the student snipped in the ear. He's due in court Tuesday morning.
