Georgia lawmakers push for ban on synthetic marijuana

Some Georgia Lawmakers are proposing to ban all synthetic marijuana, more commonly known as Spice.
The legislators will not vote on the law for a few weeks, but News Leader 9 is told several Sheriffs in Georgia support it.
Several shops in Columbus sell potpourri, herbs with chemicals sprayed on them, legally. Right now in Georgia, only certain chemicals are illegal and banned form the shelves.  Local authorities told News Leader 9 none of the stores in Columbus are selling anything with banned chemicals, that they know of.
One shop owner we spoke to said he checks the laws on every morning to make sure what he is selling is legal.
Alabama recently adopted a law that bans anything that mimics the effect of pot and made it a felony to sell or possess it.
