Tyler man found guilty in 2011 murder

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A Tyler man has been found guilty for fatally stabbing a man in 2011.

Friday, Justin Johnson was found guilty by a Smith County jury.

Johnson was on trial for the May 25, 2011 stabbing of 62-year-old Willis Warfield.

The Smith County District Attorney's Office said Warfield was dating Johnson's mother at the time.

The punishment phase of the trial is set to begin on Tuesday.

Johnson faces anywhere from five years to life in prison.
