BBQ Cook-Off and Music Festival set for April 6-7:
National BBQ Qualifier
will host television series "BBQ Pitmasters," as well as
Blackberry Smoke and
favorite area bands!!!
The 5th Annual Smoke on the Water BBQ Cook-Off
and Music Festival is set for April 6-7 in Thomaston, Georgia. Friends are
invited to Bickley's Lake to enjoy their fill of the Southeast's best barbecue
and live entertainment. S.O.T.W. is a Florida Barbecue Association (FBA)
sanctioned event, as part of the Triple Crown Championship Series. This
season's BBQ contest will be filmed and featured on the 3rd season
of "BBQ Pitmasters." The S.O.T.W. crew is offering thousands of dollars in cash
and prizes. Musical headliners like new southern rock forerunners Blackberry
Smoke and local favorites Sol Junky, as well as some of the area's best bands,
will provide a soundtrack for your experience. Camping is encouraged for the
weekend. Area vendors and the expanded Kidz Zone provide fun for the entire
family. Proceeds will benefit local volunteer fire departments. For more
