Columbus police are searching for a man who shot another near the Kmart parking lot on Macon Road.
Authorities say two cars were involved in an accident Wednesday afternoon in the area and pulled over. Soon they got into an argument and one driver pulled out a gun and shot the other.
The suspect , who fled the scene, is described as being in his mid to late teens and about six feet tall.
Police say the car, described as a beige 90s model Impala or Caprise, has a partial tag with the letters BYE.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
