Muscogee County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for a man who is on the run for violation of probation and failure to register as a sex offender.
Jeffery Hackey with the Muscogee County Sheriff's Department says 44-year old Authur James was originally arrested on rape charges and failure to register as a sex offender has landed him in more trouble.
James is 6 feet tall and weighs 195 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes with a scar on his upper lip.
"They have to register for a reason. If we can't make contact with them then that's a problem for us and a problem for his victim," says Hackey.
