COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police are searching for the man they believe is responsible for the shooting death of Charles Willis on Lawyers Lane and Seventh Street.
Oscar James Senior, 31, is the primary suspect in the deadly shooting that took place Friday afternoon. Warrants for James' arrest have been issued and he has been charged with murder and armed robbery.
Police responded to the scene where they found the victim's car with several bullet holes.
Willis was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound to his head at the Medical Center.
