EDITORIAL: Pet Peeve Part 2

EDITORIAL:  A couple of weeks ago I asked you to tell me about your pet peeves. I have heard from a few of you and a couple of your comments had to do with things we do or have done at WTVM.

One viewer thought I should keep my opinions about Alabama to myself, since we are located in Georgia.

WTVM is physically located in Georgia but 45% of our viewers live in Alabama. Our official marketing and news coverage includes Chambers, Lee, Russell and Barbour counties in Alabama and we have full time news and sales employees living and working in Alabama every day.

As a side note I was born and raised in Montgomery and lived in Alabama for 48 years. We are dedicated to serving our great viewers in Alabama.

The other comment expressed disappointment in the replacement of our weather channel with Bounce TV.

I apologize for any inconvenience and I can tell you the number of viewers has greatly increased with Bounce and you can still always get up to date weather information on WTVM, WTVM.com and WTVM mobile. We will always be first with the best and latest weather information.

Thanks for your comments and I hope you will continue to let me hear about your pet peeves.

General Manager Lee Brantley brings two editorials a week to WTVM. If you would like to respond to an editorial, e-mail your response to WTVM Editorial Committee or write to:
