ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - The University of Georgia is holding a 1-day seminar on how to teach Spanish-speaking students.
The April 27 workshop will help educators better understand how to work with immigrant students and their families. The topics will include key Spanish language phrases, cultural knowledge and Spanish materials.
It runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the UGA Hotel and Conference Center at the Georgia Center. The workshop is $275.
