Police looking for suspect in Applebee's armed robbery

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police are looking for a man who robbed the Applebee's on Airport Thruway at 1:50 a.m. Monday morning.

Police tell News Leader 9 a light skinned black man, between 20 and 30 years old, 6'1", slim build, wearing dark clothes and a red bandana covering his face pulled out a silver or chrome handgun and robbed the assistant manager.

Reports state the victim was leaving the restaurant, and the suspect forced him back into the store at gunpoint.  The suspect did get away with money.

Investigators say no one was injured and the incident remains under investigation.
