Two women punch, pepper spray teen girl

Two women are in jail after police say they were involved in a fight that left a teen injured.

Columbus police responded to 3320 North Lumpkin Road where they found a 13-year- old girl who told police she had been punched and pepper sprayed by two women.

According to reports the victim was in a physical fight with Maryiah Wynn, 21, and hit the girl. In an attempt to break up the fight, Brianca Brown, 21, pepper sprayed the teen in the face.

Wynn is being charged with simple battery and violation of probation, while Brown is being charged with simple battery for pepper spraying the teen.

Both appeared in Recorder's Court early Monday afternoon.
