Freeman NL Player of the Week

Atlanta (WTVM) - Freddie Freeman was named National League Player of the Week for April 30th-May 6th.

The Braves first baseman hit .367 last week. His 11 hits tied him for first in the NL. He added 10 RBI, good for second and his three homers tied him for third. Freeman hit safely in six of seven games with a slugging percentage of .767.

It's Freeman's second NL Player of the Week award in three weeks.
