EDITORIAL: It's always a great moment for one local teacher and this
year it was Vincent Sneed's turn.
Mr. Sneed from
Hardaway High School has been named Muscogee County School District Teacher of
the Year.
When he heard his name called he thought back to all the people
who positively influenced him, including
some of his own teachers who helped him through some difficult moments in his
own life.
A selection committee chose Vincent from 59 of the top
educators in the district. And
now he will move on to vie for the Georgia Teacher of the Year.
Congratulations to Mr. Sneed and
thanks from all of us for living up to the standards of a teacher of the year!
