A Look Ahead to 5 & 6

Good afternoon! Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6, on WTVM...

Phenix City is one more step away from seeing more than 3,000 jobs created, new hotels, restaurants and more. News Leader 9's Katherine Kington will be live to explain the "Brickyard."

A 10-year-old elementary school student in Columbus was stabbed with a pencil, by a younger classmate. Find out where it happened, plus an update on the injured child. This comes a day after a teen student brought a gun to school at another Columbus school.

And we have more details on how you can be part of a big celebration that features Georgia native and American Idol contestant Phillip Phillips, who's in the show's Final 4. Also, watch him on Idol later tonight on our sister station, FOX 54.

Tell your friends, then join us for these stories and more tonight at 5 and 6!

See ya then,
