Nick Saban visits troops at Infantry Museum

University of Alabama's head football coach will tour the National Infantry Museum this afternoon as the Crimson caravan makes its way to Columbus.

Two-time National Championship winner Nick Saban will meet with a number of soldiers who are about to deploy to Afghanistan.  Approximately, 400 soldiers are expected to give Alabama's head football coach a hearty welcome.

Some graduating troops and soldiers from the Wounded Warrior Battalion will cheer Saban on as he enters the museum around 4:30 p.m.

News Leader 9 will be there and we will have more on this story tonight at 5, 5:30 and 6.
