Funeral arrangements set for teens killed in weekend car crash

    Four vehicles burned overnight in Columbus' Historic District. The car owners live within a block of each other. 

Final arrangements have been planned for two east Alabama teens who died in a car accident Sunday night.

Funeral services will be held for 16-year-old Carlie Lloyd on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Striffler Hamby mortuary in Phenix City. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Visitation for 15-year-old Ashley Arrowsmith will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Vance Memorial Chapel.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Smiths Station.

The girls were killed when their pick-up left the road, flipped and hit a tree on Flournoy Road and Highway 80.  Arrowsmith was a student at Smiths Station Freshman Center, while Lloyd attended Smiths Station High.
