Group Wants Vote on School Prayer

It's been nearly fifty years since prayer and bible class have been allowed to be taught in Georgia schools, but a group of Columbus religious leaders is hoping to change that. They made their case before City Council tonight in an effort to get school prayer on the state ballot. We'll tell you what happened and if voters will decide the issue anytime soon.

Former Mayor Wetherington Honored

A special honor tonight for former Columbus Mayor Jim Wetherington as the City Council decides to rename a popular intersection after him.  We'll let you know where to expect to see the name change.

Vote Stalled in Al Senate on Redistricting

Democrats in the Alabama State Senate have tried everything they could to stop a redistricting plan from passing, but Republicans say they have the votes. We'll explain why the democrats don't like it and what they did that will cost taxpayers thousands in an effort to prevent the measure from passing.
