COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -
A child who was hit by an SUV in south Columbus was transferred from the Columbus Medical Center to another facility for treatment. However, officials have not released where she was taken.
Police say 3-year-old Taylor Johnson was accidentally backed over by her grandmother's Chevy Trailblazer.
It happened at King's Mountain Court near Saint Mary's Road Tuesday afternoon just before 2 p.m. Officials reported Wednesday afternoon the little girl was listed in critical condition.
A police report showed the little girl suffered injuries to her upper torso and had serious head trauma.
