Skeletal remains found in Opelika possibly girl 4 to 7 years old

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

Opelika officials revealed Tuesday afternoon the human remains found near a trailer park in Lee County belongs to a girl of African-American decent between 4 and 7 years old.

A child's skull and remains were found near the Brook Haven Trailer Park onHurst Street, more than 4 months ago.

Official determined the bones appear to be underdeveloped,which may indicate the child was malnourished.
