A Columbus man is in jail after police busted a marijuana growing operation inside his home.

Victor Bernard Jones, 54, is charged with manufacturing marijuana after police found 22 marijuana plants and four marijuana seeds inside his Harness Drive home. Police reports show the marijuana has a street value of $44,000.

Jones is being held in the Muscogee County Jail.
