EDITORIAL: Bone Marrow Drive

EDITORIAL: Noah Hein has a rare form of cancer called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia or A.L.L. This is Noah's second bout with the disease.

Noah is from Columbus and is currently in Atlanta receiving treatment, but he needs a bone marrow transplant. He was born in Vietnam and stands the best chance of finding a match with someone of Asian descent. That's one of the smallest populations on the bone marrow registry.

The family is hosting a marrow drive to find a match on Wednesday, June 6. All you have to do is fill out some paper work and have your cheek swabbed. That's it! The drive is being held at the Health & Human Services building.

If you can't make it to the event, you go to wtvm.com and click on the quick links tab to find the link to have a test kit sent to your home.
