A Look Ahead to 5 & 6

This is Jason Dennis in the WTVM newsroom. Here's what we are working on for the news at 5 and 6 tonight:

Jury selection kicked off today in the state of Alabama versus Harvey Updyke Junior, one of the most talked about Alabama fans. He's accused of poisoning the beloved Toomer's oaks in Auburn. Stay tuned for the latest from court today.

Some major changes are on the way for the Lakebottom Park area. We'll have a LIVE report about what Columbus city council decided today.

New developments in the case of an armed home invasion in East Alabama. The first of four former Auburn football players who was convicted of robbery has been sentenced. You'll get an update on WTVM.

    William Huff terrorized Sierra Vista during the spring and summer of 1967. Despite a sentence of 40 years to life, the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency voted to release him from prison into home arrest. Family members of the victims are concerned for the safety of the community, as are new members of the Clemency Board. CBS 5 Investigates videotaped Huff riding a bike through his Tucson neighborhood. There are no restrictions placed on his proximity to children.
