COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A Columbus man is behind bars after police say he illegally tattooed minors.

David Ham, 30, is in the Muscogee County Jail after authorities say he permanently inked two 14 years-old girls without parental consent.

According to one of the victim's mother, the two minors were taken to Ham's mobile home off Joy Road by an adult family friend. According to one of the victims, Ham charged her about $20 for the tattoo.

Ham appeared in recorders court Saturday morning. Due to a parole violation, no bond will be given.

News Leader 9 spoke with the mother of one of the girls, she says she will do all she can so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

"I'm feeling very mad because this man has two daughters of his own and I'm sure that he would not have desecrated his daughter like he did my daughter.  She has a very huge tattoo on her body and I wouldn't want any mother to go through that."

The victim has a large tattoo on the side of her stomach. The tattoo has both of her parents' names and bible verse. The minor told New Leader 9 she got the tattoo because of peer pressure.
