COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -
The Columbus Police Department is searching for two men wanted in a string of armed robberies and for several outstanding warrants.
Joshua Dodson, 21, and Dearius Ransom, 20, are accused in four robberies that likely involved rifles,shotguns and handguns. They are wanted for armed robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and other various charges.
According to Columbus police, the crimes took place between May 31st and June 5th at locations on Warm Springs, Buena Vista, Milgen and North Lumpkin roads.
These cases were a result of an investigation involving several victims. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
If you have any information on their whereabouts, you are asked to call the police and could receive $1,000. Please contact the Columbus Police Department's Robbery/Homicide Unit at 706-653-3400.
