MERIWETHER COUNTY, GA (WTVM) -
Authorities in Meriwether County were called to the scene of a train derailment earlier Friday evening.
It happened in Manchester off Georgia Highway 85 near Persico Road.
According to authorities six cars slid off the tracks. No one was hurt and no intersections were blocked.
The train is believed to have been carrying fertilizers.
