COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -
The Columbus Police Department says four men are behind bars after terrorizing parts of the city in numerous crime escapades. The robberies happened at various locations throughout the city. Some of the robberies were hijackings involving handguns, rifles and shotguns.
Two other suspects, 17-year-old Iman Deloach and 18-year-old Anthony Jones, are also in police custody in connection with the outbreak of robberies and hijackings.
Dearius Ransom was charged with 39 felonies - including several counts of armed robbery, hijacking, aggravated assault and several firearms charges.
Joshua Dodson was charged with 35 felonies - including felonies including several counts of armed robbery, hijacking, aggravated assault and several firearms charges.
Iman Deloach was charged with 32 felonies - including several counts of armed robbery, hijacking, aggravated assault and several firearms charges.
Anthony Jones Jr., was charged with 3 felonies, armed robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Investigators told News Leader 9 they hope to identify additional suspects in connection with these crime sprees. They also hope that by releasing the suspects' photos those who were victimized in other crimes may help in clearing other robberies.

Details of some of the robberies
June 1 - Police told News Leader 9 there were four armed robberies in different parts of Columbus. Two of the robberies were on the north side of town – one in east Columbus, and one in north east Columbus.
Investigators said the victims' descriptions of the suspects matched. Victims described the suspects as armed with a handgun, rifle and shotgun. The suspects fled each crime scene in a dark colored SUV. The four robberies happened between 2:50 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. One of the victims was shot in the shoulder by a passenger in the SUV.
June 2 - Investigators said the next day three more armed robberies occurred between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. An officer spotted the SUV in question around 5:30 a.m. The officer got behind the black SUV, which fled the scene after spotting the officer.
The officer was able to get a tag number and discovered that the SUV, a Pontiac Torrent, was reported stolen in Marion County, GA.
June 5 - Police said a woman was hijacked at a lounge on Victory Drive. Her vehicle, a Hyundai Elantra, was taken by a suspect and a second suspect fled on foot.
An officer chased the car down until it wrecked on Hawaii Way. Police arrested Deloach on the scene. Jones was arrest on June 11 for being part of the group.
