TALLADEGA, AL (WTVM) - Officials say Japanese automotive supplier M-Tek will be operating in east Alabama by this fall.
M-Tek will make cars at an industrial park near Talladega. Calvin Miller, economic development director for Talladega County, said the plant should be running by October. The company is expected to have about 200 workers.
The new factory will have a job fair on July 11 in Talladega. Most positions are expected to pay $14 to $15 an hour.
