COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

There was a camera crew getting video all around Columbus Sunday, but they weren't from WTVM, they are actually locals who are making a movie based on the life of James Bond.

Ian Fleming, the author of the James Bond books, based the character on real British Commando's while he served in the Royal Navy himself.  Author of the book" James Bond is for Real" and an actor in the documentary, Mike Sparks, is taking part in shooting the mini-movie in Columbus.

William Viruet, the executive producer of the film, is also helping with the documentary. He told News Leader 9, "We have two days for the scheduled shoot. We've had a very aggressive shoot. As professionals we were able to shoot what would equate for three weeks in Hollywood. We have a professional crew from Columbus State University."

The film crew shot scene sat the Muscogee County Education Center, Columbus State University, and the Columbus Riverwalk.

Once the James Bond documentary is complete they will be uploading the video on their website www.jamesbondisforreal.com
