COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Final arrangements are being made for a former CSU student who was found dead last week.

Visitation for MaryLul Poupart will be Tuesday July 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home. The family has not decided on a funeral date yet.

Poupart, 21, was found strangled to death Thursday July 12 in the backyard of 15-year-old Gary Smith Jr.

During testimony in Recorder's Court on Saturday July 14, investigators say Smith confessed to the crime.
