Fans across the country have been counting down the days until the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises.

"It is a completely different take than anything that has ever been done in the comics or anything that's ever been done in the films before," said Brittany Brown.

Brown will be dressed as Joker at the movie premiere Friday night at midnight joined by Jay Singleton, as Batman.

"The story has been kept secret," Singleton said. "We know the characters in it, and we know a few things about it, but we are just looking to see how Christopher Nolan has and will bring this trilogy to an end."

At the Carmike 15 in Columbus, we are told the Big-D theater is already sold out, but Assistant Manager Jamal Whaley says do not worry. He explains there will be more theaters open.

"They are all asking, is it going to be in the big theater? Is it going to be in all the theaters? And, all my answers have been more than likely yes. So, I'm always encouraging them to purchase your tickets as early as possible," said Whaley.

Crowds will pack theaters across town with people dressing up and attending events like military appreciation at Fort Benning's Wynnsong 10 Theater.

The Imax Theatre inside the National Infantry Museum will also have a sold-out house for a first-ever event.

"This is the first time the Imax Theater here at Patriots Park will be able to show a Hollywood film on the same day on its national release. So, this is a big deal for us," said Cyndy Cerbin with the museum.

For super fans like Brown and Singleton, it does not matter where they are, as long as they have a good seat.

"It is going to be action packed. It is going to be what every Batman fan has been looking forward to over the past couple years," said Singleton.
