Police seek suspect who took rifle from store's display

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

Police are searching for a man who walked into the Walmart Supercenter in Opelika and stole a rifle from the store's display.

The theft happened on June 29 between the hours of 2:50 a.m. and 3:15 a.m.

The suspect is described as a white man, wearing a dark jacket, khaki pants and a red hat. The rifle is believed to be similar to an M-16 – the type used by armed forces.
