Court upholds gun ban in GA churches

A federal appeals court in Atlanta has upheld a ban on firearms in worship services in Georgia.

On Friday, the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the First Amendment freedom of worship argument.

The lawsuit was filed after the state legislature listed eight specific places where guns cannot be carried, which includes places for worship.

Opponents say the law forces them to choose between their First Amendment religious freedoms and Second Amendment right to arms.
