Phenix City police need help identifying bank robbery suspects

PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - The hunt continues tonight for three men accused of robbing an East Alabama Bank.

Phenix Girard Bank on Highway 280 was back to business today after Monday afternoon's robbery. The Phenix City Police Department says two gunman entered the bank and demanded money.

"We're running down several leads. We do know that were looking for three suspects all of them have been identified by witnesses," said Chief Ray Smith of PCPD. "We've got a good description on two that went into the store, the one that stayed in the vehicle just only that he was a black male. Again, we are working and actively working those leads."

They were last seen in a black 2012 Mazda CX9 going east on South Railroad Street.
